Just last week the LDS church release the new theme for the Youth of the church for 2017. I am so excited for the theme and the significance to our church.
If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given to him.
But let him ask in Faith, nothing wavering. But he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
James 1:5-6
Joseph Smith found him self reading this passage in the bible, asking himself if this scripture applied to him. He chose to act on this passage and pray to know which church he should join. He learned that non of them were true. Later he became the first Prophet of the Latter Days.
I love that we can do the same thing in our lives. When we need answers we can ask in Faith to our Heavenly Father and receive answers to our questions. This year is going to be a great year for our youth. And a wonderful opportunity to learn about Faith and prayer.
