Summer grilling season is here! I have been on the hunt for a great tasting, all natural organic chicken for my family. With crazy allergies and a need to improve overall health. I found Open Nature chicken at Albertsons and was pleased to see they offer a premium grass-fed, free range, and natural chicken that is vegetarian fed and free of antibiotics or added hormones at a reasonable price. Albertsons believes that great-tasting food should be available to everyone at a great value. I love that I can feed my family a quality meat and still have money for dessert! So watch out grill, here we come! #Ad
A few weeks ago I was away camping with the youth in my neighborhood. I had a neighbor make dinner for my family they loved the marinade she used. She had never grilled it but I had a thought and went with it. I was finally able to get the recipe from her and just had to make it. This marinade paired with the Open Nature chicken tastes fresh and juicy with an Asian flair. Add your chicken to rice or noodles or salad for the perfect meal.
Ingredients
1-2 pounds Open Nature Organic chicken (breasts or tenders work great) **
1/2 cup Peanut Oil
1 tsp. Sesame oil
3/8 Cup Soy sauce
1/2 C. Rice Wine Vinegar
4 Tbls. Brown Sugar
3 garlic cloves -minced
1/2 C. Green Onions- chopped
**I buy my Open Nature Chicken only at my local Albertsons. Wash chicken and pat dry.
Combine all ingredients in large plastic zip bag or container. Add Chicken. Let chicken marinate for at least 1 hour. You can also freeze chicken and marinade for a later date. I made mine in the morning and let it sit all day.
Before grilling be sure the grill is hot, place chicken on grill. Flames may occur due to peanut oil, be careful. Grill until chicken is done on both sides. Remove from grill and enjoy.

This Open Nature chicken is so juicy and fresh. A soft Asian flair with a hint of garlic, soy and sesame. My Picky 6 year old loves this chicken and asked for more. In my book that is a big win! I love that I can feed my family a healthy meal that is easy to put together and grill up in minutes! I also loved shopping at my local Albertsons. While looking for specific products the employees went out of there way to find what I needed. They were so helpful.
