When Mommy’s home with me…. A fun book show the fun relationships children share with their mothers. My younger children loved the rhymes and beautiful pictures.
As a mother is made me feel confident in my role. Many years ago when I worked full time, I cherished being home with my children on my days off. As they grew older and I had more children I learned that my children need me more than my job did. It was time to stay home. I love the precious times I get to be with them and teach them the skills and talents I can with them. I still the love that job I left and some days wish I could still be back there. It was easier than being a mother. But being with my children and watching them grow to be amazing humans is the payoff that comes with staying home and teaching them the skills they need to make the world a better place.
I love that this little book can inspire girls to be anything they want to be. Each profession in a woman’s life can also be a part of motherhood. Some moms stay home others work and take care of a family. But no matter what a mother does in her life she will always love her children.
The illustrations are beautifully done and captivating to show that Moms come in all shapes, sizes and talents. Each is unique and perfect for the children they have been blessed with. When Mommy’s home with me, is a great way to share with your kids how mommies everywhere take car of their children and juggle what life throws at them.
Alison did a beautiful job describing the life of a mom and a professional and how much women love their children. Through word and picture this book is one for all children to read over and over again.
