I find as I get older, the idea of Christmas is Nostalgic to me. I yearn for a Vintage Christmas. Lots of Snow, Real Christmas Trees, handmade Ornaments. You know the kind we had when we were kids. I loved watching Christmas movie, seeing Santa and driving around to see Christmas lights. So this year I am trying to make a less commercial and more down home Christmas. I love sharing old movies and music with my kids. One of my favorite movies is Buddy the Elf. I realize its not super old but its older than my kids. So to them its Vintage. Buddy makes me Smile!

This week has been a crazy one. I had a major project fail. Then I figured a new way to do it. Yeah! I will have it up soon. So because my project didn’t go as planned I am starting with a printable this holiday season.

I Love to See the Temple Printable

Bathroom {Art} Printables
I have been needing to decorate my sons’ bathroom. Since I have boys I was wanting something a little more masculine. I thought these printable’s would be perfect. A cute & funny reminder of what should take place in a bathroom. Sometimes kids need a little help, right??? St. Patricks Day Decor
I have this beautiful shelf my Pappy made for me. It is one of a kind. I love it. He made it from a Window arch and added a crown molding shelf. It looks a lot like a Mantle but it doesn’t hang over a fireplace.
In an effort to decorate a little but not overhaul my home. (Lots of work, 4 kids you get the picture) But I thought this would be a great place to have seasonal decorations
and not be to much for me to handle.

My cute little shamrocks came from Joanns.
The iron crown was a piece I had on a shelf.
Vintage window came from an old house. They were replacing there windows
and threw out the old ones. {SCORE}
The wreath was a vine on clearance at Michaels I bout a few years ago. I just wrapped it into a circle and wired it together.
In total my mantel updo for St. Patty’s day totaled less than $20
