First order of business

Meredith from Haute to Sew picked my blog to receive the Liebster Award.  I am so honored.   I had not heard of the Liebster Award until then.  So here is a little background.

Liebster Award

 Liebster is German for ‘dearest’ or ‘beloved’– but it can also mean ‘favorite’. The Liebster award was created to give some attention to those blogs with less than 200 followers.

So when I found out that I won the Liebster Award from Meredith I was super excited. You should check out her blog.  Its super cute and filled with lots of tips and tricks and projects.  Defiantly in my blog reader.

In accepting the award, you are supposed to follow these rules:
1. Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
2. Reveal your five picks for the award and let them know.
3. Post the award on your blog.
4. Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogshare-other bloggers.
5. Finally and the best rule of all………have fun and spread the love!

    I love Washi tapes, but one of my daughters hates “stickers” and anything similar to that, even band-aids. I’m trying to convince her that Washi tape is not a sticker, but something uber-cool to decorate her binders, etc. with. 🙂

    I’d love to get the Target card because I hear that they sell Washi tapes.

    Thanks for the Liebster nomination, Adrienne! And what a great giveaway! I love all of those gift cards, but I guess I’d go for the TJMaxx, cause I really need some new summer clothes. I’d love the Washi tape too – I haven’t tried it yet.
