I know Valentines isn’t over yet but it is never to early to start sewing for an upcoming holiday! Easter is just around the corner. This year make your kiddos there very own Easter Buddy!
Designing with Chairish.com
Oh how I would love a fully furnished house with all the fancy stuff. Sometimes I just look and what is out there and think of different designs I would like to have. Here is one design that I feel in love with.
I adore the color Turquoise.
I love this Turquoise couch. It is my absolute favorite! I found it on Chairish.com. Charish is a website with vintage furniture for your home!
A new look.. Lush Decor $200 Giveaway
Do you ever get the new year blues? Christmas is over, it’s cold out side and we are all stuck inside. For me that means I want to change things up a bit. I want to paint walls, change bedding and decor. Sometimes I make all of my own stuff but sometimes it is just easier to find a great deal on the web and order it! Well if you fall into the latter category then this post is for you!
Orange you glad, Valentine Printable
Continuing on with my candy free valentines, I made this fun Orange printable with heart shaped wedges. You can pair it with a real orange or you can use the cups of Mandarin oranges. My local Sam’s Club has them on sale through the end of January. They make an adorable treat for the kids!
My Nutty Valentine printable
While shopping at Sam’s Club I found these Nutty Bars from Little Debbie. I remember them fondly from my childhood. I though they would make an adorable Nutty Valentine for one of my kids classes at school. For 12 snack packs it cost about $4. I can have a fun treat for my daughters class for under $8. Perfect!
Cheese and Crackers Valentine
When you were a kid do you remember those little packs of Crackers with a cheese and the little red stick to spread it with. They were a special treat for my family. We loved them on car trips or on special occasions. And know my kids love them too.
My local Sam’s Club carries them so I sometimes treat my kids with them in their school lunch. So this year I though it might be cute to make them into a Valentine. For about $8 for 24 packs and my free printable you can make your own Valentine for you kids classes!
You’re the Cheese to my Crackers Valentine!
Vintage Popcorn Valentine Printable
I LOVE Vintage Valentines! I wish they were easier to find. I love the colors and saying and images they used way back when.
This one made me giggle. So I put it in Photoshop and made some multiples. I taped it to a bag of single serve popcorn and you have the Corniest Valentine ever!
Healthy Mexican Lettuce Wraps
This dinner is just to delicious to not share. I found something similar online over at Damn Delicious that was a vegetarian meal and it sounded good. But I needed to make it fit my dietary needs and I like meat. So I did a little changing and came up with this easy to make, one pan dish. My kids (the pickiest eaters ever) even loved it! It is packed full of veggies, protein and fiber and tastes delish. This one is going on the menu for sure!
Beautiful skin with Skin Authority
I know its been a while since I have blogged. Sometimes you just have to take a break. Or find something you want to blog about. Today’s post is because I found something amazing to blog about. I have been trying out a new skin product and love it! Skin Authority is my new go to skin care line!
Here in Idaho it is cold and dry with 9 months of it. My skin takes a beating and I still break out like a 16 year old girl! I have tried everything. It is so frustrating. I like the all natural approach to most things, especially skin care but I will try almost anything to soften up my skin and get rid of acne. So when asked to try Skin Authority I gladly accepted!
I received my Holiday Essential skin duo in the mail all boxed up and wrapped in an Organza bag. (If you order for a gift just wrap it up from the shipping box!)
The Duo included a:
*Face, Hair and Nail oil and a
*Moisturizing Mist.
A concentrated blend of exotic essential oils and powerful hydrators instantly transform parched skin, brittle hair, and weak nails for a healthy, smooth sheen. Ideal for dry, winter weather.
Does that not sound perfect for me?
I am in love with Face, Hair and Nail oil. Because of the climate I live in and a little eczema I struggle on a daily basis to find a nice balance in skin maintenance. With the Skin Authority my face is so soft! My cheeks are smoother than ever and I don’t feel like they are oily and worry about acne. Not to mention my fingers nails haven’t been this soft and healthy since my last time in Hawaii.
After cleansing my face I rub a small amount of oil onto my face. I take what is left on my hands and rub it into my nails. What a difference it had made! I have fewer hang nails, and softer cuticles.
The moisture mist is just what I needed to add a little moisture on those cold wind chill kind of days. It can get well below zero here with wind chill. SO sometimes I just need a little extra during the day. The moisture mist smells great and gives me that extra boost!
Priced at just $50 makes it my new go to skin care set.
Skin Authority has an array of products to try for both men, women and teens. This holiday they have a few Holiday offers that let you try out this amazing product at fantastic price!
With so many skin care products you can find anything you may need to look and feel good about your skin.
You can check the Skin Authority about page for more on their philosophy and concept behind a Healthy Skin lifestyle. Their products are natural, paraben free, dye free, fragrance free and animal free. I love this approach to healthy skin care.

Turkey Table Kids coloring page
I decided to post a little last minute Thanksgiving fun today. A week ago I posted this over and Whatever Dee Dee Wants. SO today you get it from me. It’s Quick and easy and it will make the kids happy!!
Every year when I was little, my grandmother would set up a kids table for all the grand kids at Thanksgiving and Christmas. We would all sit around and wait for dinner to be served. I would have loved having a coloring and puzzle page to color while I waited for dinner to start. So for my kiddos this year I made them a coloring place mat. Just like the kids get when you go to a restaurant. I added this adorable turkey crayon holder for the table decorations and voile. Your kids table is ready for those hungry kids!
For added decoration you could make my Turkey Crayon Holder. Give your kids a little something to do while you get Turkey dinner on the table!
Print of as many as you like for the kiddos around your Turkey table this year!!
