Free Patriotic Printable, Land That I Love
I love adding Patriotic decor to my house. When I was a little girl we had an American flag my dad would hang from the top or our 1902 Victorian home. I think it was 20ft x 10ft. It was gigantic. It was always important to them that we showed appreciation for the men and women who have given there lives for our freedoms. I love that those values were instilled in me.

Easy DIY Salad Bar & Lazy Susan
It’s Salad Season!! Fresh veggies galore~ Let’s just say to start, I really don’t love salad. Part because of my allergies but part because I just don’t like pre-food. (that’s what my husband calls it.) So back when I went to Fitness Ridge (now called Movara) they had an open salad bar. You can see my post about Fitness Ridge AKA Movara {HERE} and my 12 things I learned {HERE}. Our calories were kept under close watch. But if you really needed more or just liked it, you could have as much salad as you like. It was huge. And I really didn’t know I liked salad until it was presented to me in this way. So I decided when I came home I was going to do that too. My kids are so, so salad eaters but they were willing to try.

Are you my mother? Missionary activity
As a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints we are Missionary minded. Always teaching and preparing our youth to service full time missions. To serve a mission you must complete the criteria and submit forms to Church headquarters. From there a mission is chosen for you based on your information and just a few months later your are whisked away to another part of the world to preach and share the gospel. This year for youth conference we used the them Mission Island Park. Since I live in Idaho we have the amazing opportunity to go stay at a cabin in Island Park. Our kids had this amazing opportunity to hear from others about serving a Mission for the LDS church.
Quiet Time Printable playmats
Making a printable my kids we can use for travel, church or home is always a big hit. My little guy is really into cars, planes, and dinosaurs. And he is always on the go. I decided to make him these little playmats for on the go. I have made small travel toys in the past like these travel car mats and the travel dino mat. They have been awesome. But he is enjoying more than dinos and cars so I decided to add a few play ideas. We take them everywhere. Just the other day we had it while we were at the car dealership. I will be sharing the tutorial for the carry-all later but today I will be sharing a couple of the play mats. [Read more…]
