I love holiday shopping and finding great deals on toys, clothes and Tech. Each year I try to start early and end early. This year is no different. He watches it any chance he gets. So this year he is getting a few toys for him to pretend his way to Neverland.

For my wants to be a tween girl 5 year old : Vet medical kit and a Fur Real Friends Unicorn. My little girl is obsessed with Unicorns. This little beauty was plucked right off the shelf when she saw it. When you press on its back it walks and makes hosed sounds. She also just has a great love for animals. So I though it would be fun for her to have a vet kit. I think this Christmas she will be one Happy little girl if Santa brings these!

The 10 year old son who loves tech: Ipad Mini, ipod, itunes gift card and the Disney Infinity game.

My not quite a teen son:

Ipad Air and Legos. My 12 year would love to have an Ipad Air. He loves himself some Legos too. Any Legos will do. Especially Harry Potter and Star Wars Legos.

And for the whole family I picked Nerf guns. Because who doesn’t love to have a Nerf war on Christmas Morning! I love that they have come out with girlie ones too. (Thanks you Hunger games for the inspiration!) Pick a little something different for each member for your family. And don’t forget the extra ammo!

A “Simply” Wonderful Christmas with Simply Lemonade

I love Simply Lemonade. It is one of my favorite treats. I thought it would be fun to wish my neighbors a “Simply” Wonderful Christmas. So I made a cute tag, bought my lemonade at Sam’s Club and tied them up with a bow. Now what neighbor would not love a bottle of there own. I hope they like it! Young Women Youth Theme 2014 Printable Scripture

Recently the LDS church announced the new theme for the youth. It is Moroni 10:32. “Yea, com unto Christ, and be perfected in Him, and deny yourself of all ungodliness.” I took the scripture and made an 8×10 printable to hang in our classrooms for the girls use each Sunday. Jingle Bells Wreath

While shopping at a boutique I found an adorable Jingle Bell Wreath. I decide I could make my own with some amazing polka dot burlap I found at Walmart. This wreath is super simple and quick to make.

Here is what you need. grapevine wreath, burlap, bells, twine, glue gun and assorted 1/2 inch letters

Using a large strip of burlap. Make a large bow. The size will vary depending on the size of your wreath.

Cut 11 double sided triangles. Glue your triangles to a string, ribbon or twine. I found some letters in different shapes and sized. I used scrapbook sticker and chip board.

String your banner across the wreath. I did mine in two layers, stacked. I added some red bells to give ti a little jingle!

Hang and enjoy!

Young Women in Excellence + Free Value Banner Printable

Our theme this year for YW Women in Excellence was “I Will Walk in His Way”

Here is our podium table. We used the 11×14 Shoe print from Cardvark and added a Christus and Crown.

Our whole night idea started with these shoe cupcakes. We loved them on Pinterest and Made them ourselves. We had a few of our Young Women help us decorate them. I was impressed with how well my girls did. They were so creative! And they tasted delicious too!

We made these easy bookmarks for each of the girls to use in there scriptures and to remember the night. I tied a ribbon to the bookmark and a silver shoe charm. You can get the printable below and add the shoe image from Cardvark.

For each of the girls we had them bring a pair of there favorite shoes with the below card sharing how there shoes help them to walk in His Way. We displayed these on a table in the corner for all to read.

For each of the girls we make name cards for their projects. They looked like this. I fit 4 to a page.

We also used the shoe image to create our program, bookmark, name cards and invitation.

For our table decorations I made this adorable banner to drape along the front of the tables. On the project tables I mixed the banners some had values on them and others were just the value color.
